Tea time
Going along with my comfort theme today, I made some macaroni and cheese for lunch. It was tasty, but wasn't quite like the macaroni and cheese place Rick Bayless recently tweeted about, S'MAC in NYC. I am DYING to go here. Sampler platter of 8 different macaroni and cheese's? I literally cannot think of a better idea. So here's to being warm and comfortable, and to hoping your day was as lovely as mine.

Snow days and tea times
Today, the Mister and I finally got some rest. After a nine inch dumping of new snow overnight, I headed into work to finish a few things and await word of an impending accreditation arrival. No word appeared, so I headed home as quickly as possible so I could work from home and avoid the snowy commute (it was a disaster of all disasters on the roads today--no wonder all the schools were canceled)! Working from home included a small nap though, and hence I finally got some much needed rest. Then while working on my laptop, the Mister and I got caught up on some of the Olympics over the weekend that we recorded (loving snowboard cross, ski cross and curling). It was a really nice relaxing day at home, which I concluded was just the perfect time for tea! So I busted out some aurora borealis and my awesome new tea strainer.

If you haven't been already, I highly recommend visiting Tea Haus down in Kerrytown. LOVE it! I bought a few bags of tea for Noah for Christmas there. They are so excited about their tea and had me glowing about tea after I left. And I don't even like tea!
AND OMG MAC N CHEESE PLATTER! Take me! Take me!
