It's time to get real

It's been quite a while since my last post. I'm still feeling a bit uninspired. I'm overwhelmed with all things related to moving, with leaving my current job and not yet having another project to focus on, with missing my mister, and with trying to find calm in the storm that is my current home. Ideally, I'd be posting through this storm; trying to quiet my inner thunder booms. That clearly hasn't happened though, especially while losing power for the last 72 hours with all these actual strong Michigan storms. So instead I'm still taking things one day at a time. Enjoying what I can, when I can. Like having brunch at Aut bar yesterday on an absolutely PERFECT weather day in Ann Arbor, followed by an afternoon spent playing with kittens at the HSHV kittypalooza.

These are the things that make me smile. Other recent contenders include the Ann Arbor Art fair, a pj party, checking out the new Michigan stadium addition, and ordering NY foods for my last ever committee meeting at work.

I'm hoping my inspiration resumes full force once I'm settled into my New York life come September 1st. And on that note, I'd better get crackin'. Only 5 short weeks left for all things Ann Arbor!
