dun, duh, duh, da!!!!
There it is, the unveiling of my surprise from last week. I got a new car!New car = Happy Honda Lady
This marks a pretty momentous occasion in my adult life. This is my first new car ever! And even more momentous, is that along with Brad, we did this entirely on our own. I'm so proud of us for wheeling and dealing with different dealers, and making a purchase agreement I could be confident and proud of. I feel like it was a good choice, and I'm looking forward to long-term reliability. Sorry Dad, for breaking your heart and buying an import, but a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do. I promise I won't park it in your driveway! That being said, I was actually a little bit sad to usher out my old race car. My Grand Prix wasn't the most reliable car in the world, and it saw it's share of bumps and bruises. But overall, it was a good stable car for those 6 years I had it, and I'll miss it dearly (and I'll surely miss that V6). It will always be my "first" car even though I bought it used, and I hope somewhere in car land that it makes someone else just as happy to own. At least it didn't end up on the scrap heap.

Old car = First car Love
Now on the list of things to do is to get used to this "new car stink," and the fear that I'm going to ding and dent it, and I'll be good to go. Perhaps a road trip in my future??

My new car advice: Enjoy your new car smell. Soon enough it will smell like french fries. Stay away from car washes. Watch out for neighborhood punks with basketballs. Come pick me up and take me for a ride in the new wheels already!
P.S. It's a very pretty car!
My love...I love it - new car smell and all. As for the bumps, just as long as you don't perform like Andretti in any parking garages, you'll be fine. Besides if you could manage to control your rocket previously then this little one shouldn't be a problem.
Don't worry about the dings and dents...I left a little something for you before I flew home. See if you can find it! ;-)
She is vary vary pretteeeey!
