iphone love

A quick little post this evening to talk about being smitten with my new iphone 3GS. I don't really need a phone that has a data plan, since mostly all I do is talk and text. But now that I have one, I can tell you that after just 24 hours, there is no going back. This thing is awesome! I'm quickly finding that I'm way more productive during "wait" times, i.e. at the salon, picking up carryout, on hold to service agencies, etc, because I'm able to do things like check email, update social network sites, and track my diet. I'm also seemingly obsessed with all these apps ("There's an app for that" commercial running through my head all the time) and think it's great that I can track my workouts, have an alarm clock, identify plants, and find recipes by ingredient, all at the touch of my fingers. Can you tell I've got a little Apple love?

One other unintended consequence, is that I'm getting much better at managing my iTunes account; something I've wanted to make happen for a long time. Having a phone sync to iTunes forces me to do just that! I also, in the "great deal of the day category," found an Agent 18 iphone cover for only $7.99 at Marshalls! That's a steal considering they're still selling them at the Apple store and online for almost $25. I had to get some sushi to celebrate!
