Scrapbook Memories had some good deals, but it was also crazy busy. I think we stood in line for about 20 minutes to purchase items, and we were some of the lucky few who didn't even have to wait that long! I ended up with a few sets of stickers, some much needed small titanium scissors, a microfiber cloth for wiping fingerprints off of pictures, a couple of metallic pens, and plenty of cute papers.

After heading back to Ann Arbor, I hit up Kohl's. I got a coupon in the mail this week for an additional 30% off anything in the store, and quite frankly, my mister needed some things. I wanted to surprise him when he returned from Virginia with a new bathing suit and an electric toothbrush. He's been begging me for both for months now. What I wasn't expecting though, was finding some fun new flip flops for my man. I'm sure he'll be pleased. My wallet was happy too with them only costing me $8 a piece!Welcome home presents for my man
My last stop this afternoon was to the TarShey (Target) to check out dinnerware to display on my new patio table. I'm extremely picky about that kind of stuff, so I wasn't expecting to find much. But to my delight, I actually found the kind of thing I was imagining! And I've always wanted to try square plates, so this was perfect. I think the pattern will match nicely with my Henna patio umbrella, which was critical. Now I've just got to find some appropriate sized cobalt blue place mats, and I'm good to go.Summer retro dinnerware
