Why has all the snow followed us from Michigan? This winter has been one of the worst on record in New York, with over 40 inches of snow to-date. The average is 21 inches. Doh! Complicating the situation, is the fact that I've started work this week. What a lovely welcome back! I must admit though, while I hated driving in snow in Michigan, views like these on your walk to work are quite peaceful.

P.S. We had THUNDERSNOW last night. As in, while it was snowing, it was also thundering and lightening. I find this to be the most fabulous new weather condition ever. Thundersnow is fantastigreat.
