Is it...Sushi?

I found some pictures online for some homemade sushi made out of candy. The idea of making this has been intriguing me for months. My friend Liz celebrated a birthday today, and since I planned on seeing her tomorrow for a craft show, I thought it would be perfect to make the sushi tonight, and arrive tomorrow with a cute little birthday treat in hand. I even went all out and got a disposable bento-like container and wooden chopsticks! I won't post a recipe for the actual sushi, as there are plenty you can find out there on the interwebs. I think the most authentic sushi I found was located at a blog called Brownie Points. I really admire what this chef has got going, so check it out.
I also attempted to take some pictures while I was making these sushi rolls, but things got much too complicated as I was doing too many things at once. Essentially you make rice krispie treats, cut out circles and squares, dip them in chocolate (preferrably dark with black & green food coloring), then apply some white chocolate to the top with your fixings. I used dried papaya and cocoa nibs. Because I wasn't totally sure how this whole thing would turn out, I also had a simpler back-up candy sushi. That included green fruit roll-ups, large swedish fish, and gummy worms rolled up around rice krispie shapes. This really is such a simple thing to make, so I'll let the pictures do the talking.
