lunch and art

In the completely random posts category, today I ate radish sandwiches for lunch. I developed a slight obsession with radish sandwiches after having them off the appetizer menu at Grange in Ann Arbor. Now I can't get enough. Yesterday when I spotted watermelon radishes at the Union Square greenmarket, I knew what today's lunch would be. I haven't been able to find them since I ate them in Atlanta! (well, I did find them also here in NYC at Mario Batali's Eataly, but long story short, they were absolute crap, and completely white inside). Without further ado, I give you, my city lunch.
City Breakfast? City Lunch?
P.S. Lunch was eaten at 2:30pm, but was the first thing I ate of the day. Does that technically make it a radish breakfast? It was tasty regardless. I also passed by this cool mural today on my way to Lowe's for some needed organization stuffs. I really like this mural because it symbolizes a lot of what Brooklyn is about: the brownstones, the part of the subway where it goes above ground, the arch in Grand Army Plaza, and hot dogs riding a ferris wheel at Coney Island. I'm really diggin' all the cool art around this place, and can't wait to see what we collect over the next few years. :-)
