Never forget

I feel so very humbled to live in New York, especially today. It was nine years ago, but sometimes it still feels like yesterday to me, recalling the news about the World Trade Center. Maybe it hit so close to home because just the year before we had been to the top of those twin towers. Maybe it was because we had a lot of friends who's families were in the city and potentially affected. Thankfully, all of our friends and their families were fine. Tonight they lit up the spotlights at the WTC in rememberence. I'm thankful to be here and to have witnessed it, and even more thankful for all those who risked their lives and helped during such a tragedy in this great city.P.S.
